This is APEX Advocacy.
APEX Advocacy is a U.S.-based, registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization building BIPOC Leadership, Narrative Power, and Cross-Movement Infrastructure for Animal Justice. We empower advocates through grassroots action, media storytelling, policy advocacy, and we advance interconnected struggles for collective liberation.
What we do:
BIPOC Community for Animal Advocates
We create sanctuary spaces for BIPOC advocates and host shared study that strengthens how we think, speak, and organize. We produce movement tools and resources, and we’re building a Black-led media arm that shifts narrative and culture—bringing animal justice into the center of public conversation.
Pre-Animal Activism Week (P.A.A.W.)
Our flagship leadership incubator for BIPOC advocates building power—and reframing animal justice as essential to collective liberation. Through immersive learning, political education, and culturally grounded community care, participants gain organizing and narrative skills, cross-movement strategy, and ongoing alumni support.
Activism Starter Guide for BIPOC
We created a guide – written by BIPOC and for BIPOC – to help advocates stay informed, empowered, safe, and sustained in their animal activism.
We successfully shut down a slaughterhouse, conducted an intersectional animal rights speaking tour in South Africa across four universities, and created a database showcasing Black-owned vegan businesses.
