B.I.P.O.C. Community for multispecies justice advocates
We cultivate spaces of belonging, collective study, and political education where B.I.P.O.C. advocates can deepen their analysis, exchange knowledge, and build lasting relationships. Rooted in shared learning and community care, these spaces strengthen collective leadership, political imagination, and solidarity across movements.
Pre-Animal Activism Week (P.A.A.W.)
P.A.A.W. is our flagship leadership incubator, supporting emerging B.I.P.O.C. advocates in bringing animal justice frameworks into the movements and communities where they are already engaged. Through immersive political education, culturally grounded vegan education, hands-on training, and community care, participants explore the connections between animal exploitation and other systems of oppression, deepen their political analysis, and develop practical approaches to advancing multispecies justice within their existing work.
Black-Led Media & Cultural Power
We are building an independent, Black-led multimedia outlet that invests in Black, Indigenous, and other creators of color, cultural workers, and organizers producing original media, knowledge, and political analysis across interconnected movements. Grounded in Black decolonial thought, our work examines the systems that sustain the exploitation and disposability of human and more-than-human life. Through cultural production and political education, we expand the possibilities for multispecies justice, self-determination, and collective liberation.
We successfully shut down a slaughterhouse, conducted an intersectional animal rights speaking tour in South Africa across four universities, and created a database showcasing Black-owned vegan businesses.
