Harvard University Presentation Recap

APEX’s founder and executive director Christopher “Soul” Eubanks recently had the opportunity to speak at Harvard University – specifically Harvard Law School, which invited him as a featured speaker during its annual Animal Law Week.

Chris’s presentation was entitled “Introduction to Veganism, Speciesism and Collective Liberation” and focused on the inherent interconnected nature of all forms of oppression.

It’s hard to overstate how important it is that all who care about *any* form of oppression and injustice understand the intersectional nature of all oppression, and how one form of oppression informs and upholds all of the others. There is no shortage of examples where this is glaringly obvious, especially in the current moment when so many vulnerable populations – human and nonhuman – are at constant risk of annihilation.
