Queer Community Gathering: June 18

Join APEX Advocacy for a guided queer gathering facilitated by Yasmin, APEX’s Director of Communications, for people who identify as queer, LGBTQIA+, and/or questioning.

This is a space to slow down inside Pride season. To check in with ourselves and each other, write a little, ground a little, talk if you want, stay quiet if you need, and move through creative prompts together.

We'll spend time with the queer lineages, spaces, and practices that have shaped us, and let that open into collective imagination around queerness and collective liberation.

This is a participatory communal space with multiple ways to engage. You are encouraged to participate by voice, chat, written reflection, listening, or witnessing in whatever way feels supportive for you!

This space is for queer, LGBTQIA+, and questioning community members. If you are actively exploring your relationship to queerness or LGBTQIA+ identity, you are welcome here.

Allies are warmly invited to support this Pride offering by donating to APEX’s Pride campaign rather than attending, so this space can remain centered on queer and LGBTQIA+ community care.

This 1.5 hour event is free. If you’re able, we invite a suggested donation of $10 to support APEX’s Pride campaign and future community programming. Your presence is welcome whether or not you donate.
